ASTM 1918 is the Standard Safety Performance Specification for Soft Contained Play Equipment. ASTM is an international standard organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services. Zhenghan Playground has been designing, manufacturing, and installing indoor playgrounds that comply with the ASTM F1918 (Standard Safety Performance Specification for Soft-Contained Play Equipment). Zhenghan Playground can meet the local safety standards and pass the safety inspections in North America.
(2) CPSIA for North America
The Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) of 2008 is a United States law signed on August 14, 2008, by President George Bush. The legislative bill was known as HR4040, sponsored by Congressman Bobby Rush. It was approved by both the United States House of Representatives and Senate. Laws for kids' safety are very strict in the USA. To meet the safety law requirements and high-quality safety standards, Zhenghan Playground indoor playgrounds are specifically designed, manufactured, and installed in compliance with those laws and standards in every aspect.
(3) NFPA 701 for North America
NFPA has various standards depending on how the fabric will be used. In the case of draperies, curtains, and similar hanging textiles, the standard that applies is NFPA 701: Standard Methods of Fire Tests for Flame Propagation of Textiles and Films. This test measures the flammability of a fabric when it is exposed to specific sources of ignition. All of the materials used for Zhenghan Playground indoor playgrounds comply with the NFPA 701.
(4) UL 94 for North America
UL 94 is the most widely used test for determining a specimen's relative flammability, its ability to extinguish the flame after ignition, and its dripping behavior. UL94 covers two types of testing: vertical burn and horizontal burn. The Standard for Safety of Flammability of Plastic Materials for Part in Devices and Appliance Testing is a plastic flammability standard released by Underwriters Laboratories of the USA. The standard classifies plastics according to how they burn in various orientations and ranks their thicknesses from lowest (least flame-retardant) to highest (most flame-retardant).
Zhenghan Playground indoor playgrounds can also meet the requirements and standards of the UL 94.
(5) EN 1176 for Europe
The European Standards for Playground Equipment: EN 1176 and EN 1177 have been published to harmonize existing European standards. The EN1176 including EN1176-10, EN1176-1, and EN1176-3 is a European safety standard made for both indoor playgrounds and outdoor playgrounds. Zhenghan Playground has been in business with many customers from European countries for many years. Zhenghan Playground indoor playgrounds can meet the EN1176 standards to pass the inspections by local safety authorities.
